Do you use multiple job sites in your quest for your next job? Do you have multiple versions of your resume in multiple locations? Are you finding it difficult to manage and track all your job applications?
If you do, then you will love us for this. Now on JobsByRef.com, you can maintain and track all your job applications, no matter where, when and how you applied for them.
To manage non-jobsbyref job applications, from your dashboard, go to My jobs under Jobs menu.
Here you will find all your job applications, those you applied through JobsByRef.com as well as those that you applied through other means.
To add details of a non-jobsbyref job application,
1. Click on the button Add a non-JobsByRef job that you will find at the top right corner of your screen.
2. Enter the details in the form presented to you [In the Job Details section].
3. If you are only now applying for this job and would like to use your comprehensive profile available on JobsByRef.com as your resume, enter the details in the Profile details to be shared section. This section allows you to create a link to your profile that you can fully control.
4. Click on the Save button
5. From the popup dialog copy the generated url (select the url and press ctrl-C).
6. Close the pop-up dialog.
7. Now instead of sending your text resume to the potential employer, you can paste or forward this link.
You no longer have to worry about your profile getting out-dated. All changes you make to your profile are immediately available to the potential employer. And if you do not want them to see your profile anymore, just delete the link. It’s that simple.
You can now add notes, display/hide selected profile details, add/change password as well as change the validity period of the link.
What’s more, we will tell you how many times your profile has been viewed through this link - so you don’t ever have to worry if your profile is reaching the right hands or not!
