ICICI Bank starting to recruit
ICICI Bank is planning to recruit 3500 additional people by end of Q1 2010. The bank is looking to add people to its growth areas like home loan, car loan and transaction business. Currently, ICICI Bank has around 35,000 employees and according to media sources it is said that this recruitment is largely to fill the positions becoming vacant due to the attrition they had in the past 9 months.
Additionally, the bank has applied for opening 500 new branches and this should mean that more people will be required to run these branches. Looks like they will be hiring more people soon to take care of this growth post approval.
