Obama-Biden administration encourage on-line job application process
Did you know that you can apply for a job in the Obama-Biden administration on-line?
Following is what the process they encourage prospective job seekers to follow on their website change.gov :
Application Process:
1. Please complete and submit the on-line Expression of Interest Form below.
2. Within a few days, you will receive an email with a link to a more complete on-line application.
3. Upon submitting your full on-line application you will receive an e-mail acknowledgment.
4. If and when you are considered for a specific position, you will be asked to fill out additional forms, including financial disclosures, and be subject to other reviews which may include FBI background checks.
It is heartening to know that Obama-Biden administration is adopting a completely on-line job application process. According to CNN they have got a staggering 300,000 job applications on-line so far for around 8000 job openings.
To apply for a job in the Obama-Biden administration there is lot of information you need to furnish, all on-line. And just like applying for any other job they require you to tell the truth. Lying on a job application can knock you out of contention from the job or can be grounds for firing you at any point in the future (we often hear about companies who are digging into their current employee’s resume to see if they have given any information that is a lie and use this as a basis to fire them from the job).
As we have been repeatedly saying at JobsByRef.com - applying for a job on-line by filling in a job application helps the job seeker, recruiters and organizations to process the application in an effective, fast and consistent manner, unlike an uploaded resume which can have information specified in a non standard, difficult to process format. With jobless numbers increasing day by day globally and more people applying for the same job, our strong belief is that organizations will opt for using the on-line job application method as the need to process resumes faster is greater now than ever before.
Are you using online job sites effectively to search for your next job?
